Michigan Democrats Celebrate Pride MonthCelebration Urges Equal Rights For All“Pride Month is a time to celebrate who we are, reflect on how far we’ve come as a people and decide on our future together,” said Phil Volk, Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party’s LGBT and Allies Caucus. “We believe in working with a broad base of allies to achieve equality for all American citizens. This includes people of color, poor people, LGBT people, people with disabilities, everyone!” “We have had a strong partnership with the LGBT community for years and look forward to continuing that relationship in the future,” Michigan Democratic Party Chair Mark Brewer said. “Pride Month is the perfect opportunity for us all to embrace diversity and acceptance of others.
