McCotter voted "NO" to making health care more affordable for all Americans by fixing the Medicare prescription drug program. Fortunately the Democratic controlled House began fixing the Medicare prescription drug program and putting seniors first by passing H.R. 4, "Medicare Prescription Drug Price Negotiation Act."
McCotter sided with Big Oil and voted "NO" to begin achieving energy independence by rolling back the multi-billion dollar subsidies for Big Oil. Fortunately the Democratic controlled House took action to secure our energy future by passing H.R. 6, "Creating Long-Term Energy Alternatives for the Nation Act."
