Will the Bolgergate Grand Jury Call Michigan GOP Chair Bobby Schostak?

How Deeply Was the Michigan Republican Party Involved in Bolgergate?

LANSING – Michigan Republican Party Chairman Robert Schostak should be called in the Bolgergate grand jury investigation because of a text message sent from House Speaker Jase Bolger to Rep. Roy Schmidt indicating they would ‘show the GOP we’re all set’ before filing the paperwork for Schmidt and his fake opponent, Matt Mojzak.

“This conspiracy did not end with Jase Bolger and Roy Schmidt,” said Michigan Democratic Party Chair Mark Brewer. “There were an untold number of Lansing players involved, including Michigan Republican Party operatives. How were they involved? What did Bolger and Schmidt share with Schostak and the Michigan GOP before the filing deadline? Were they aware that Mojzak was not a resident of the district? All of these questions and many others are important to unraveling the conspiracy of Bolgergate.”

Bolger sent the following text message to Schmidt on the morning of May 14:

“Can they get the paperwork to u and u get to me so we can get it in our hands, show the GOP we’re all set… then we’ll file tomorrow.”
