MI Democrats Win All Across Michigan, from Mayors to City Council

LANSING – Last night, Democrats were elected to city governments all across Michigan.
    
Democratic mayors were elected and reelected throughout Michigan. Among them:

●Charlie Brunner was elected in Bay City
●Mayor Marilyn Stephan was re-elected in Berkley
●Jim Plakas was elected in Garden City
●Mayor Jim Ellison was re-elected in Royal Oak
●Mike Estes was elected in Traverse City

Democrats were elected to serve on city councils and commission across Michigan. Among them:

●Ryan Hersha was elected in Battle Creek
●Eileen Steadman in Berkley
●Dan Terbrack in Berkley
●Barry Brickner was elected in Farmington Hills
●Randy Bruce was elected in Farmington Hills
●Nate Triplett in East Lansing
●Derrick Quinney in Lansing
●Barbara Budros was elected in Traverse City
●Jim Carruthers was elected in Traverse City

Paul Wojno was also elected City Clerk in Warren.

“In many of these races, Democrats won for the first time in areas considered strongly Republican demonstrating that Democrats are competitive all across the state,” said Michigan Democratic Party Chair Mark Brewer.
