MDP Statement on Yom Kippur

Today, Michigan Democratic Party Chair Mark Brewer issued the following statement commemorating Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement:

"Sundown today marks the start of Yom Kippur, one of the holiest days of the year for Michigan citizens of Jewish faith. Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement, is a time to seek forgiveness and ask for guidance through prayer, fasting and repentance. Yom Kippur is a perfect time for everyone across Michigan to reflect on how to better the lives of ourselves and our neighbors.”
