Mark Brewer Statement on the Passing of Former MDP Chair Joe Collins

Lansing-“Today the Michigan Democratic Party mourns the loss of former MDP Chair Joe Collins.  Collins was a protégé of legendary MDP Chair Neil Staebler and at the age of 25, Collins became the youngest MDP Chair in history. He worked very hard to build the MDP into an important institution in Michigan politics and he was always available when I asked for his valuable advice. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.”
